Black Ops 6 fans desperate for fan
Black Ops 6 players have raised the alarm about some classic Black Ops content returning to the game in the near future, but some are hopeful it’ll be positive.
Over the last few years, Call of Duty has embraced the past more and more. Weapons from classic games like Black Ops 1, World At War, and Modern Warfare 2 have started appearing with more regularity – even in fresher forms.
For a lot of players, harkening back to the halcyon days of their Call of Duty playing times is welcome. Others, however, take a different view, complaining about the developers recycling content instead of doing something fresh.

Ballistic Knife’s potential return has COD fans begging for classic mode
The Treyarch staple, that pesky Ballistic Knife, has also been leaked to make a comeback at some point but fans just want it to mean the return of something else.
Article continues after ad“I can’t believe we’re being drip-fed modes that were in BO1. I just want sticks and stones, man. It’s the game mode my friends and I like the most,” one fan said.
Article continues after ad“It’s so funny all these “new” modes and guns and perks and streaks would have been included in the older games at launch. The DRIP FEED model of COD is so lame,” another chimed in. “of f*cking course it’s coming lmfao they’re just saving it for season content along with sticks and stones like they always do,” added another.

Others are worried that it wouldn’t stack up to its power in previous games. “IDK how well a ballistic knife fares when everyone is diving and sliding like mad men to stay off your center,” one said.

The melee weapon’s return hasn’t been confirmed yet, so we’ll have to wait and see. Treyarch has brought different party modes back, so why not Sticks and Stones?
