DH Bucharest reaches playoffs
The first day of DreamHack Bucharest has come to an end, and we are down to eight teams, as the tournament is entering the play-off stage.
As expected, Danish duo fnatic and Anexis topped their respective groups in the morning, with HEADSHOTBG and iNation securing the other two places in the knock-out stages.
Brazilian side GamerHouse had two tough games against I Got Game and BGDonLINE, but managed to beat both teams 16-11 and 16-10, respectively, to come out on top of Group C. The second spot in this group went to IGG, who defeated the Serbians 16-7 on de_inferno to go through in the competition.
After the car in which three of iNNERFiRE's players were travelling broke down, the Bulgarian side were forced to play with stand-ins and had to settle for the second place in Group D following a 16-14 victory over addicted in the final match. The top spot went to neXtPlease!, who won both of their matches 16-9 to earn a quarter-final clash against fellow countrymen IGG.
