Warzone leak reveals return of highly requested looting feature
Warzone is reportedly bringing back a feature that makes it easier to see what items come from an enemy or a loot box.
Raven Software has tinkered with several different looting mechanics to perfect the system. In 2022, Warzone 2 introduced a backpack system that forced players to enter a separate screen to loot everything besides weapons.
Fans slammed the feature because it was too easy for enemies to sneak up on them while they were looking at the backpack screen and trying to scroll through each item. In 2023, the devs didn’t remove backpacks entirely but had loot drop to the floor and float over the ground, making it easier to parse through.
